With over 40 years of history DramaSoc is one of the most active student drama societies in Britain. Based in ‘The Barn,’ our student run venue, we put on a different play every week during term time. In addition to our full productions each week we host free Open Drama Nights and have successfully taken work outside the barn with highly successful productions at the York Theatre Royal and Edinburgh Festivals. We are also committed to outreach programs with projects in schools and prisons. No previous experience is required to get involved and we offer the opportunity for students to be as active within the society as they wish.
